Pre-Conference Tours

These Thursday tours are only available by reserving your spot, and the cost is... free! Our wonderful guides are offering free admission to conference attendees, so make sure to nab your spot when registration opens. The deadline to register for the tours is September 30, or when space runs out for the Eugene O'Neill National Historic Site.

 

Eugene O'Neill National Historic Site, Tao House, 205 Railroad Ave., Danville, CA 94526 to meet the van

Tao_House.jpgTours are at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Meet the van at the Museum of the San Ramon Valley in Danville for a 1 1/2 hour tour of the site. Space is limited to 12 people for each tour.

Blackhawk Museum, 3799 Blackhawk Plaza Circle, Danville, CA 94506

Blackhawk_1886_Benz.jpgThis tour features the Classic Cars and The Spirit of the West exhibits. Meet in front of the museum at 10:30 a.m. to view both exhibits. The tour ends at 12:30 p.m.

Oakland Museum of California, 1000 Oak St., Oakland, CA 94607

Oakland_Museum.jpgOakland Museum is providing a tour of the History Gallery for those interested. This museum is about 30 minutes from the conference's host hotel, so grab some friends and carpool over! Meet for the tour at 11 a.m. in front of the History Gallery. Please note, there is a small fee to park in the museum's garage.

Post-Conference Tours 

Sunday has more free tours available by reservation! Tours of the Alamo Pioneer Cemetery in Danville and Rose Hill Cemetery at Black Diamond Mines Regional Preserve in Antioch are available on Sunday morning. Meet at 9:30 a.m. at Alamo Cemetery at El Portal just east of Danville Blvd.
