San Francisco East Bay area's Tri-Valley: Amador Valley, Livermore Valley, and San Ramon Valley

This October, you won't want to miss the Conference of California Historical Societies' Fall Symposium in the Tri-Valley. Four outstanding museums have been planning a fantastic weekend of tours, workshops, activities, and more!

Museum of the San Ramon Valley, Contra Costa County: This history museum in Danville includes the special California Indian and National Park Centennial exhibits and a walking tour of Old Town Danville.

Forest Home Farms Historic Park, Contra Costa County: San Ramon's museum features a tour of the restored 1877 David and Eliza Glass House.

Alviso Adobe Community Park, Alameda County: Pleasanton's Alviso Adobe includes bedrock mortars, the reconstructed Meadowlark Dairy, and an opportunity to make your own adobe brick.

Dublin Heritage Park and Museums, Alameda County: Dublin's facility features a workshop on cemetery stone care and restoration, as well as housing the oldest wooden church in the Bay Area.

Just to be clear, it’s not the “oldest wooden church in the Bay Area.” It’s the first school house built in Murray Township in Alameda County.
