Native American Indian Gallery Grand Opening Celebration

 Grand Opening Celebration of the
Native American Indian Gallery! 

Join us on Sunday, September 25th from 1-5 p.m. for the Grand Opening of the Pico Adobe Museum's newest permanent exhibit, the Native American Indian Gallery. This exhibit recognizes the art, history and culture of the Indigenous peoples of North America and includes selected pieces from the Paul Knapp and Eileen Weissberg collection. The Fernando Tataviam Band of Mission Indians will be joining us to open the ceremony. Activities include sage smudging, a ribbon cutting, Native storytelling, children's games, craft booths, tours of the gallery and adobe and light refreshments.

The event is FREE so don't miss out! In addition, tours of the Pico Adobe and Gallery will be given throughout the day. Parking is limited, so please carpool or use public transportation.
